KITTEHS!!!!
After
16 years, we lost Halloween (Skitia) earlier this year. Once we
moved and got settled, Nicole began the "Great Cat Campaign of
2010". it was not going well and Mary was winning on the
"NO" front. In a deft strategic move to flank her
sensibilities and go for a full on attack, Dan offered up "Let's get
2 so they have a friend." The thought was if I ask for two,
maybe we can get one. But Mary was quick with a counter strike ...
"Okay, lets get 2". Dan is not sure if he won or
lost this battle.
We
were hoping for kitties, but there were none at the animal shelter, but we
did see K-Dubs, a 1 1/2 year old and Scoria, a 4 year old that was 1 of
120 cats at a crazy cat ladies house. So far we pretty happy with
them as they are getting adjusted to The C Ranch.
Moving is so much fun. Dan
lost his office when we moved from Antioch, but there is a nice spot in
the new place for his personal space, it just needed some camouflage.
